Problem solvers
I was in a rush to post a customer’s order one day, so I left for the post office with the goods unpacked, hoping the post office would have the appropriate packaging. Surprise surprise, the Pos Malaysia packaging for the size that I wanted was out of stock. So I left to look for alternatives. The shop two doors from the post office was a stationery shop. I asked for a box and wrapper. They had no box at all, not even the used boxes of the products they were selling, those have been thrown away. I went to the next shop; it was a hardware store. They had the service I was looking for. I left my goods in a plastic bag, and I got back a nicely wrapped package, for RM3, which I was more than glad to pay for. This reminds me of something I read somewhere: entrepreneurs solve problems, at a margin.
